The firm has experience in
project management from sample collection to on-site presentation of final
products. Most projects are science based and yield either technical reports or
testimony in circumstances of litigation. In addition to the technical
consulting, GTC
maintains a stable
Isotope Laboratory
that employs a Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometer dedicated to the isotopic
analysis of boron (d11B). Boron isotopic analysis is
among the newest methods in forensic hydrology because it can provide evaluation
of solute source; the analysis is a
significant enhancement to geochemical evaluations.
Analyses are used
consistently in consulting projects but are
also available commercially to outside clients.
Isotope Client list is available. GTC
has both managed projects and participated as a sub-contractor in cases that
require geochemical support.
Project needs often include the use of many forensic tools including stable and
radioactive isotopes, computer simulations using geochemical computer codes, and
detailed chemical analyses; GTC is
familiar with and experienced in these methods. The
principal, R.L. Bassett, Ph.D., has research and project consulting experience with
clients in industry; federal, state, and county governments; universities and
national laboratories. The firm has its office and isotope laboratory in Waco,
Texas. Contact us or send us an email with any questions: admin@geo-chemistry.com |
